Party Policies and FAQ

Can we bring food and drinks?

We do not allow outside food, cakes, or beverages at private parties and events. We do encourage you to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated though! We also sell bottled water for $1. Many of our party packages included a complimentary sparkling beverage toast as well. If Champagne is requested, all guests must be over 21 and the champagne will be served after party instruction. Since our studio is right on Main Street in Manayunk, there are a wide variety of restaurants and bars just a 5 minute walk away!

Can we have a drink before our party?

For liability and legal purposes, we do not allow alcohol to be consumed during or prior to our parties. Please refrain from alcohol consumption and recreational drug use before your party. If we suspect a guest is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, we will ask that the guest be removed from the premises. There are no refunds in the event of a cancellation due to intoxication.

Do I need to know the exact number of attendees when I book my party?

The online booking option is designed for pole parties of 10 participants or less, or aerials parties of 6 participants of less. If you have a larger group, reach out to us to book. If your attendance list grows after booking, just reach out to us as well.

What if someone just wants to watch, do I have to pay for them as a participant?

Everyone who attends a party counts as a participant whether they are dancing along or just watching. Our parties are more than just time on an apparatus, we set the mood with bubbly drinks, music, and dramatic lighting just for you. Often times that friend that is just watching the party ends up with the best photos and videos from the night too!

What should we wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in. For Pole, shorts are necessary if you want to learn how to climb and sit on the poles. For aerials, wear leggings or other tight fitting pants. We dance in bare feet, socks or oh so sexy heels! For your safety, please do not wear any lotion, oils, jewelry, skirts, or any clothing or accessories with metal parts such as zippers or studs.

What if I have a special request for my party?

Reach out to us with any questions or special requests! You are welcome to bring decorations or props, and just let us know if you if you have a theme or playlist you’d like us to work with. We do our best to accommodate requests for a particular instructor or specific type of dancing such as twerking.

Can I book additional studio time before or after my party?

Can I book a party for tonight?

Standard booking policy for parties is to book at least a week in advance. We are sometimes able to accommodate a last minute booking that is within a week of the requested party date, but this is based on instructor availability and requires a late booking fee of $35.

What if I’m running late or need to reschedule?

We can not extend your party due to late arrivals. Please give yourself extra travel time if you are unfamiliar with the area. Instructional time starts at the beginning of your scheduled party time. There are no refunds for late or missed party reservations. If you need to reschedule your party, it must be done so at least 5 days prior to your party reservation.
